Senior Animal Protein Analyst

Jen Corkran

Jen is a Senior Animal Protein Analyst at RaboResearch in New Zealand. Jen is responsible for providing in-depth research, insights and knowledge on livestock, with a particular focus on sheep and beef.

Growing up in rural Hawke’s Bay, Jen has spent over a decade building relationships with farmers and the wider primary industries, most recently as a Pasture Specialist at Barenbrug, New Zealand. She draws from this experience to enrich the RaboResearch team with a deep knowledge of farming systems and communications experience with farmers.

Jen holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) from Massey University and is a graduate of the Kellogg Rural Leadership programme.

Emma Higgins

Emma leads RaboResearch Food and Agribusiness efforts to support New Zealand’s rural and corporate businesses with impactful research and engagement across cross-sectoral issues, with a particular focus on the dairy sector.

Hailing from a sheep and beef farm near Nelson, Emma is a passionate ‘agvocate’ and is widely regarded as a leading voice on local and global dairy markets.

Prior to joining Rabobank in 2014, Emma worked at KPMG as a Tax Consultant. A strong communicator and authentic leader, Emma holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and is an enrolled barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.
