Graduate Program Testimonials

Ashley Kowalewski

Having two six months rotations has allowed me to gain insight into how different analysts and managers do things and have had access to a wide range of skills. As a grad, I’ve been supported with my own personal development, being encouraged to think about my goals, what skills I want to learn and focus on and where I want my career to head.

Starting off in a new workplace in a new city can be daunting with so much to learn, but Rabobank made this transition easy. The bank has a great culture, everyone is very welcoming and supportive and there’s a great team environment. There’s been plenty of cool opportunities to get out in the community, attending events such as the Wanaka A&P show, field days, environmental discussions with farmers and networking events with other professionals.

I am really thankful for the opportunities the bank has given me, it’s a fast paced exciting industry and I’ve had lots of exposure to various farming businesses throughout NZ. Rabobank is uniquely placed in the market being 100% Agribusiness focused and that aligns closely with my passion for farming.

The bank has clear growth ambitions and that’s something I want to be a part of heading into the future. The commitment to hire 10 graduates annually is awesome and I can’t wait to see their development and support them into the opportunities that I have been given.
