Competition Summary

Rabobank New Zealand Limited (“Rabobank”) is giving visitors to the Rabobank tent at the Wanaka A&P Show the chance to win $500 worth of riparian plants and a day’s labour courtesy of the team at Rabobank to assist with planting ("Competition").

How to Enter

  1. Participation in the Competition is easy. To enter the draw, scan the QR code on display in the Rabobank tent at the Wanaka A&P Show, enter your details using the Competition form, and you’re in the draw.
  2. The Competition begins at 9am on Friday, 8 March 2024 and ends at 4.30pm on Sunday, 10 March 2024 (“Competition Period”).
  3. All participants must be eligible to enter the Competition, as set out in the ‘Terms and Conditions of Entry’ below.
  4. Entering the required details on the Competition form is deemed acceptance of the full ‘Terms and Conditions of Entry’ below.

Terms and Conditions of Entry

Please read our terms and conditions before submitting your entry, to make sure you meet the criteria for entering the Competition.


  1. In order to enter the Competition, each entrant must visit the Rabobank tent at the Wanaka A&P Show, scan the QR code provided and fill in the required details on the Competition form.
  2. Each entrant may only enter the Competition once.

Criteria for Entry

  1. Entries submitted between 9am on Friday, 8 March 2024 and 4.30pm on Sunday, 10 March 2024 will be eligible for the Competition.
  2. The Competition is open to entrants who scan the Competition QR code at Rabobank Wanaka A&P Show tent. Entrants must also satisfy the following eligibility requirements:
  1. Entrants must be over 18 years of age at the start of the Competition Period;
  2. Entrants must be a New Zealand resident or citizen;
  3. Entrants must not be an employee or director of Rabobank or its related entities, or part of the immediate families of an employee or director of Rabobank;
  4. Entrants must not be a recipient of Rabobank’s Community Fund, or a member (or the immediate family of a member) of Rabobank Client Councils.


  1. One (1) winner will receive one (1) prize of $500.00 worth of riparian plants and a day’s labour from the team at Rabobank to assist with planting (“Prize”). The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  2. On 14 March 2024, the winner will be notified via the contact details provided on their entry form. Inability to contact a winner within fourteen (14) days of selection will result in the Prize being forfeited and an alternative entry will be selected to receive the Prize.
  3. The Prize is not exchangeable or transferable.
  4. The riparian plants must be planted on a property owned by the winner, or where the winner does not own property, the winner must have written permission from the property owner to plant the plants. If the winner does not provide evidence of written consent upon request by Rabobank, the winner will be ineligible for the Prize, and an alternative entry will be selected to receive the Prize.
  5. The Prize will only be delivered in New Zealand. Rabobank will correspond with the winner and arrange for the delivery of the Prize to the winner’s nominated property, providing that all relevant property owner consent has been received (where applicable).
  6. The labour portion of the Prize will be arranged by mutual agreement, at a time and date that is suitable to Rabobank and the winner.
  7. Rabobank will complete a health and safety risk assessment of the winner’s nominated planting site and approval of the planting site will be at Rabobank’s sole discretion.
  8. Rabobank may request a photograph or video from the winner with their Prize.
  9. The winner is responsible for all tax or other costs that may be associated with the Prize.


  1. The promoter of the Competition is Rabobank New Zealand Limited, 32 Hood Street, Hamilton, New Zealand.
  2. Information on how to enter and Prize details form part of these Terms and Conditions. If there is any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other published material, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
  3. Each Entrant consents to the personal information given being disclosed to companies related to Rabobank, and being used in the running of this Competition and for marketing purposes by Rabobank (including marketing by electronic means). Rabobank may be contacted on 0800 500 933 if an Entrant wishes to gain access to or correct their personal information or to opt-out of their personal information being used for marketing purposes.
  4. The winner consents to their name being used for public relations purposes relating to this promotion in any media for an unlimited period, without remuneration.
  5. Rabobank is not responsible for entries that are undeliverable due to a fault or delay in any electronic transmission.
  6. If entrants fail to adequately submit an entry with the required details set out in the entry form, that entry will not be accepted into the Competition.
  7. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Rabobank and its suppliers exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the entry, the Competition or any Prize.
  8. If for any reason whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of Rabobank, the Competition is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated, Rabobank reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or terminate the Competition, including the Prize.
