There's an incredible event in the works. It's unlike anything rural Aotearoa has ever seen.
Offering women experiences
they wouldn't usually get
in provincial New Zealand
Creating vibrant
rural communities
Building the resilience
of rural women and
their self confidence
"Nothing else throughout the year is for me. You’ve got a husband and family and business to try and run, nothing’s about you, you’re just a link in the chain. That’s why it’s so important, it’s just about me.”
The Shepherdess Muster encourages rural women to take time from the demands of family, farm and business to prioritise wellbeing. It’s a fantastic initiative for women to step away from the busy-ness and gather for a weekend of inspiration, connection and fun.
The Muster will celebrate vibrant rural communities, encourage entrepreneurship, build resilience through shared experiences, all whilst enjoying great food and friendship.
Supporting rural health and women in farming is important to Rabobank and we are proud to be partnering with Shepherdess.
