New Zealand Ewe Hogget Competition

Rabobank is pleased to sponsor the National Ewe Hogget Competition, which awards farmers for excellence in sheep breeding. The competition is open to all New Zealand sheep farmers and covers all aspects of the hoggets including composition, fecundity, meat yield, wool type etc. Rabobank promotes suitable entrants and assists in the judging process. The competition culminates in a field day held on the winner’s property, showcasing the farm and the winning livestock.
